P.S. Many of you have emailed us to ask if we’re still offering free 20-minute consultations (worth $100) to anyone who buys a copy of The Essential Guide To Getting Your Book Published. The answer is yes! Click on the book link to order. And then send us a copy of your sales receipt. The offer stands until the 15th.

Can you order this from Barnes and Noble or Amazon, or does it have to come from your site?
Thanks!

I wrote the pitch, I bought the book and I got the free consultation. The book is fabulous and the consultation was helpful, encouraging and fun. David gave me a lot of homework to do. As a writer who is trying to get published for the first time(ie before I read The Essential Guide, I had no idea how to start), it was immensely helpful. I was nervous about reading my pitch, but David was a great listener and a kind but clear critic.
Anyhow, what I am trying to say is that I would recommend that anyone who is trying to publish something buy the book now and take advantage of the generous offer of a free consultation.
Thank you, David.

Looking fwd to finishing your terrific book. Thanks for throwing in the fun factor. Hope you will check out my page for “Show Don’t Tell: A Guide To Purpose Driven Speech.”. I am currently indie published but am trying to attract the big boys. With your book, I will. Thank you.

I am planning on attending the Pitchapalooza event in Albany on April 15. I just read through the 25 pitches you posted from a previous event and they all are for fiction. Do you consider nonfiction, health, self-help books? Not nearly as sexy or exciting but I’m passionate about my concept and, like those countless others who have come before me to pitch to you, convinced that my book is unique and will change the lives of those that purchase it! I bought your book, have read mostly every word, and will be there either way, just askin…

Hi Lynda,
the online Pitchapalooza was for NaNoWriMo, which is a ficiton-only organization. But our regular Pitchapaloozas, like the one in Albany, is for everything. We look forward to meeting you!
Cheers,

Hi,
I was just reading a library copy of your book and I can’t imagine trying to negotiate the minefield without it. I ordered just now from Amazon, getting under the wire for the free consultation, but they are out of stock for a few days. Anyway, I suppose they will include a reciept. Do you want a copy snail mailed or do you prefer fax?
